Bucks vs. Magic Prediction
Will tonight’s Bucks and Magic matchup go over the betting total for bettors when the teams square off at 7:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Magic are 3.5-point home underdogs versus the Bucks while the total currently sits at 209.5 points. Orlando opened as a 1.5-point underdog before the number was bet up to 3.5, while the total hasn’t moved since hitting the board at 209.5.
The Bucks have now dropped three straight games, with losses at Atlanta, versus Philadelphia, and at Houston. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 32 points in the 111-92 in that loss to the Rockets, adding 11 rebounds, six assists, one steal, three blocks and one 3-pointer in 37 minutes of work. He was the only player in the game to reach double-digit boards.
The Magic have also lost three in a row and have been on a horrid stretch, dropping seven of their last eight overall. They’re coming off a 118-98 loss at the Nuggets and capped their recent road trip at 1-5. Serge Ibaka tied his season high with five blocked shots during the loss to Denver, adding 11 points, seven rebounds, two assists, one 3-pointer and zero turnovers in 25 minutes.
OUR PREDICTION: The over is 4-1 in the Bucks’ last five games overall, is 9-2 in their last 11 games after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game, and is 5-2 in their last seven road games. On the other side, the over is a perfect 4-0 in the Magic’s last four games overall and has cashed in nine of their last 13 games coming off a straight up loss. I don’t trust either of these teams right now, but there is some value in the total.
FRIDAY NBA PREDICTION: BUCKS/MAGIC OVER 209.5
