Warriors vs. Magic Pick
Are the host Orlando Magic going to cover the spread tonight versus the powerful Golden State Warriors? Tip-off is at 7PM ET.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Warriors are listed as a 10.5-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is set at 227 points.
Golden State enters with a 16-6 overall recprd and 9-13 ATS after a 127-123 overtime win at the Lakers. Orlando is 9-13 and 10-11-1 ATS following a 121-108 home win over the Thunder which snapped a nine-game losing skid. The Warriors won the first meeting this season by a count of 110-100 on their home floor back on Nov. 13. Golden State is 3-0 straight up and 2-1 ATS in three meetings since the start of last season. The under is 3-0.
The Warriors were led by Kevin Durant with 29 points, seven rebounds and five assists in the win at LA. Steph Curry contributed 28 points, seven assists and five boards. Klay Thompson added 20 points, three rebounds and two assists. Golden State outscored the hosts 18-14 in overtime.
Aaron Gordon manufactured a monster game of 40 points, 15 rebounds, four assists and four steals in the victory over OKC. Elfrid Payton chipped in with 19 points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals. Evan Fournier added 16 points and three assists. The Magic outscored the Thunder 62-51 in the second half.
Golden State is 4-0 ATS in its last four meetings in Orlando. The under is 7-2 in the last nine meetings in Orlando.
The Warriors are banged up right now with Curry, Durant and Thompson among the players questionable to play tonight. They all played against the Lakers and it was not the greatest of performances. Expect at least one of them to sit this game out and Orlando to take advantage, especially a rejuvenated Magic squad after finally ending their losing streak.
