Friday’s NBA Daily Fantasy Picks
Which players will shine in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals? Here’s our NBA Daily Fantasy options for the Cavaliers and the Celtics tonight?
In a single game format on DraftKings, players get to selection six options at any position with a $50,000 budget. The winning total from Game 5 was around 184 points, which was lower than most nights in the playoffs. Here’s our six picks for Game 6 tonight.
Cavs’ LeBron James, $19,700: Not picking James actually worked in your favor in Game 5, as he had just 47 fantasy points, which isn’t great for his very high price tag. However, I think he bounces back at home tonight with the Cavs facing elimination. If he is going to truly gas out, I think it will come on the road and not at home.
Celtics’ Jayson Tatum, $10,200: Tatum exploded in Game 5 for 51.25 fantasy points. It was by far his best game in the series. Given all the other options in this price range, I feel like Tatum has the most upside because he doesn’t rely on scoring to get his fantasy points. Though, he can score, as he had 24 points in Game 5, Boston needs him to get rebounds, assists and steals.
Cavs’ Tristan Thompson, $6,100: Thompson has been hit-and-miss in the series, maybe more on the miss side. However, he had 38 fantasy points in Game 4 at home when he played 38 minutes. Cleveland is a much different team at home than on the road and Thompson seems to have a bigger role in this series at home.
Cavs’ George Hill, $5,200: Hill has been pretty tame in this series when at Boston, but he put together 50.25 fantasy points in the two games at Cleveland. Hill logs a lot of minutes and seems more comfortable being aggressive on offense when at home.
Celtics’ Aron Baynes, $4,900: Baynes has a pretty decent Game 5, putting up 20.75 fantasy points. He has been right around 20 fantasy points in each game of this series, so he’s a nice option for a lower price.
Cavs’ J.R. Smith, $3,500: Smith has been abysmal in this series on the road, but he put up 36 fantasy points over the two games in Cleveland. I think he will do something similar tonight. He has a decent upside because of all the minutes he will play.
