Monday’s NBA DFS Predictions
The highly anticipated Western Conference Finals get underway tonight with Game 1 between the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets. Here’s our Daily Fantasy Predictions for today’s game.
In a single game format on DraftKings, players get to selection six options at any position with a $50,000 budget. Here’s the six players we are using for the contest.
Warriors’ Draymond Green, $12,300: It’s going to be tough to decide which of the superstars to play in this series with so many high-salary options. I like Green because scoring is not his focus. Between Curry, Durant and Klay, the hot hand could come from any of the three. Green is about the rebounds and assists and he averaged nearly a triple-double against the Rockets this year. I feel like Green will continue to put up big fantasy numbers this series.
Rockets’ Chris Paul, $11,800: Paul has really elevated himself in the last two games of the series against Utah. Now he enters this series where he will have to continue to step up while Harden deals with the hounding defense of Klay Thompson. Paul averaged 21.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and 8.7 assists against Golden State this season.
Rockets’ Clint Capela, $9,800: Capela has been a steady force for the Rockets and like Golden State, Houston has been spreading the big scoring games between Paul and Harden. Capela just mans the paint and picks up easy baskets and rebounds. He had a quiet finale against the Jazz, but scored at least 37.5 fantasy points in six straight prior to that. Capela averaged 15 points and 6.3 rebounds against the Warriors this year. I think he does much better than that tonight with extended minutes.
Warriors’ Andre Iguodala, $6,100: Like Green Iguodala is a stat stuffer that has the potential for a big game if he can hit his limited shooting opportunities. Even in his bad games, he still produces double-digit fantasy points. He peaks out in the mid-30’s if he can crash the glass and handle the ball.
Rockets’ P.J. Tucker, $5,000: Tuckers has seen improved numbers over the last few playoffs games for the Rockets and he has logged at least 33 minutes five of his last six playoff games. That much playing time usually leads to some fantasy production. He put up 37.5 fantasy points in Game 5 against the Jazz.
Warriors’ Kyle Looney, $4,000: The Warriors will need some production from its bench and I think Looney could be the guy to give them a nice boost. While you can’t expect huge numbers, Looney as scored at least 13.75 fantasy points in his last six games. He also is playing over 20 minutes a game right now.
