Tuesday’s NBA DFS Predictions
The NBA Playoffs for Tuesday feature a pair of conference semifinal games. Here’s our Daily Fantasy Predictions for the two games taking place.
Point Guard – Pelicans’ Rajon Rondo (at Golden State, 10:30PM ET) $7,300
Rondo has been a steady play for the Pelicans in the playoffs. He had 38.5 fantasy points in Game 1 against the Warriors in what was considered somewhat of a down performance. He has scored at least 38 fantasy points in all five playoff games this year and I expect that to continue tonight.
Shooting Guard – Warriors’ Klay Thompson (vs. New Orleans, 10:30PM ET) $6,600
Though Stephen Curry may return tonight, Thompson continues to have strong numbers against the Pelicans. In Game 1 of the series, he put up 42.5 fantasy points behind 27 scoring points and six rebounds. This season, Thompson is averaging 24.3 points and 4.5 3-pointers against the Pelicans.
Small Forward – Raptors’ DeMar DeRozan (vs. Cleveland, 8PM ET) $7,800
There’s not a lot of great small forward options that aren’t LeBron or Durant. DeRozan has played well at home in the playoffs, with two games over 40 fantasy points. The matchup isn’t the most ideal, but I feel the Raptors are going to come out with a lot of energy at home tonight. If Toronto is going to win this series, DeRozan is going to have to step up. I am going to take my chances on him having a big outing tonight.
Power Forward – Cavs’ Kevin Love (at Toronto, 8PM ET) $6,400
Love hasn’t been great in the playoffs so far, but he has done very well against Toronto this year. Over three games against the Raptors, he is averaging 17 points and 12 rebounds. LeBron is someone that typically steps up when Cleveland has its back against the wall. That’s not the case tonight in a Game 1, so I am going to look for other Cavs to play and I think Love is the best option.
Center – Raptors’ Jonas Valanciunas (vs. Cleveland, 8PM ET) $6,200
The Toronto center has similar stats to Love in this matchup, as he is averaging 15.7 points and 12 rebounds per game against the Cavs this season. He also is coming off 76.75 fantasy points in the final two games of the Washington series. Toronto will try and dictate this series and play their big and not let themselves go small for Cleveland’s sake. I think Valanciunas can dominate in the paint.
