The “Big 3” are in action tonight when the Miami Heat travel to L.A. to take on the lowly Clippers. The Heat have won nine straight and have a stellar road record of 15-5. Meanwhile, the Clippers are 12-24 and are now 14 games back in the Pacific Division. They’re 9-13 at home this year, although they have won two straight.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made the Heat 8-point favorites over the Clippers, while the over/under total is currently 194 points. Tip off from the Staples Center is 10:30PM ET.
Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic are 3-point favorites over the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday night, while the over/under total is currently 190.5 points. According to latest NBA trends, the under is 6-1 in the last seven meetings between these two teams when the game is played in New Orleans, and 10-3 in the last 13 meetings overall.
The team with the league’s best record is all in play on Wednesday, as the San Antonio Spurs will take on the Milwaukee Bucks. The Spurs are only 3-point road favorites, while the over/under is currently sitting at 187.5 points.
Manu Ginobili leads San Antonio with 19.0 points per game, while Tony Parker has a team-best average in assists at 6.8. As usual, Tim Duncan leads the teams in rebounds per game with 9.3.
