Bucks take down Bulls
Milwaukee secured a 124-115 home win over Chicago Thursday night to improve to 8-3 overall and 3-1 at home. The Bucks trailed by one at halftime before outscoring the Bulls 32-20 in the third quarter. Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee with 38 points on 13-of-24 shooting including 1-of-5 from 3-point range plus 11-of-20 at the free throw line. He also racked up 16 rebounds, four assists and three steals. Eric Bledsoe tallied 31 points, eight assists, four boards and two steals. Wesley Matthews contributed 15 points and four caroms. Brook Lopez added 13 points and six rebounds.
Brogdon hurt in defeat
Indiana fell 111-102 at Houston Friday night and lost another player to injury as point guard Malcolm Brogdon was forced out of the game in the first half with a back ailment. The Pacers were outscored 31-23 in the final quarter of the loss. Damantas Sabonis led the way with 18 points on 6-of-12 shooting plus 6-of-8 at the free throw line. He also accounted for 13 rebounds and three assists. Doug McDermott contributed 18 points and five boards off the bench. Aaron Holiday had 12 points, five dimes and four rebounds. T.J. Leaf registered 12 points and seven boards as a reserve. T.J. McConnell accounted for 12 points and seven assists off the bench. Justin Holiday added 10 points, five caroms and three assists as a reserve.
NBA Betting Trends
The Bucks are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 road games. Milwaukee is 0-4 ATS in its last four games overall.
The Pacers are 4-0-1 ATS in their last five home games. Indiana is 5-1-1 ATS in its last seven games versus the Eastern Conference.
Indiana has been without Myles Turner, Jeremy Lamb and now it looks like Brogdon will also miss tonight’s contest. The Bucks are coming in with a couple days of rest, while Indiana had to travel for Houston. This is unfortunate scheduling for the Pacers and while they have decent depth on their roster, I think the fatigue factor and being down a few bodies will be too much to overcome.
