Dallas Mavericks Daily Fantasy Spin
Mavericks point guard Kyrie Irving (shoulder), power forward P.J. Washington (knee), and center Daniel Gafford (ankle) are all officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Cavs. Irving is second on the team in scoring with 24.3 points per game this season.
Dallas point guard Luka Doncic (calf) center Dereck Lively II (ankle), power forward Maxi Kleber (foot), and center Dwight Powell (hip) have all been ruled out for Sunday’s contest. Forwards Naji Marshall and Olivier-Maxence Prosper could see more playing time with Dallas potentially missing multiple frontcourt players on Sunday.
Cleveland Cavaliers Daily Fantasy Spin
Cavaliers reserve guard Craig Porter Jr. is questionable to play on Sunday due to an illness. Porter is averaging 2.6 points per game in 8.1 minutes per contest this season.
Cleveland shooting guard Caris LeVert (wrist) is also questionable to play this weekend. He’s averaging 10.8 points per game in 35 regular season appearances for the Cavs this season.
Cavaliers small forward Isaac Okoro (shoulder) and power forward Dean Wade (knee) have both been ruled out for Sunday’s home date with the Mavericks. Cleveland forward Georges Niang figures to get more minutes with Okoro and Wade out of commission this weekend.

Mavericks vs. Cavaliers NBA Prediction:
The injuries for Dallas may be too much to overcome in this game. The Mavericks will for sure be missing Luka Doncic, who is their best player and leading scorer at 28.1 points per game. Three other Dallas starters (Kyrie Irving, P.J. Washington, and Daniel Gafford) are all listed as questionable heading into this contest. All three of those players are top-five scorers for the team this year. Not having one or more of those players available will likely hurt against a team as good as Cleveland has been in 2024-25.
The Cavs have been the best team in the NBA against the number all season. Cleveland is a league-best 32-16 ATS overall this year. The Cavaliers have been great in several different scenarios that will be relevant for this game. Cleveland is 29-15 ATS as a favorite and 17-9 ATS as a home favorite in 2024-25. With the Mavericks likely playing shorthanded this Sunday, I give the clear advantage to the Eastern Conference-leading Cavaliers. I’m laying the points with Cleveland in this one.
