Clippers roll at Miami
Los Angeles was in a funk at home, but the Clippers have won two of their last three on the road. That includes a 111-99 win at Miami on Wednesday. The Clippers are 26-22 on the season, 12-12 on the road, 26-22 against the spread and 25-23 with the over.
The Clippers are strong on offense this season, averaging 114.1 points per game while shooting 38.2 percent from the arc and 47 percent from the field. Defensively, the Clippers are giving up 113.7 points per contest. Danilo Gallinari continues to be out for the team due to a back injury. He is averaging 19 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. Tobias Harris is leading the team this season with 21 points and 8.0 rebounds per contest.
Bulls thrashed at home
Chicago is coming off a 121-101 loss at home to Atlanta on Wednesday. The Bulls have lost nine of their last 10 and are 1-3 against the spread in their last four. Chicago is now 11-37 on the season, 5-18 at home, 21-26-1 against the spread and 28-19-1 with the under.
The Bulls rank second-to-last in the NBA in scoring, putting up just 101.1 points per game this season. Chicago also shoots just 44.4 percent from the floor. Defensively, the Bulls are giving up 111.3 points per game. The team is without Wendell Carter Jr. until April due to his thumb injury. Zach LaVine is leading the team with 22.9 points and 4.2 assists per game while Lauri Markkanen is adding 17.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per contest.
NBA Betting Trends
Los Angeles
The Clippers are 6-2 against the spread in their last eight road games and 17-5 ATS in their last 22 Friday games.
Chicago
The Bulls are just 1-5 against the spread in their last six home games and 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven against Western Conference opponents.
Prediction:
Going on the road has seemed to help the Clippers, as they picked up impressive wins at San Antonio and Miami in the last week. The Bulls looked awful on Wednesday, losing by 20 to the Hawks. They have had their last three losses come by at least 14 points. The Los Angeles offense should be too powerful for Chicago to keep pace with. The Bulls are back to their old form for good and I don’t see them snapping out of it tonight.
NBA Prediction: Los Angeles Clippers -5.5
