New York Knicks DFS Notes
RJ Barrett went off for 30 points (10-of-23 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs) with seven assists, six rebounds and three triples in Wednesday’s loss to Philly. New York has lost 16 of their past 19 games, but the silver lining is that RJ Barrett has really found his stride. In his previous six games, Barrett averaged 28.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.7 dimes and 2.7 steals, earning the respect of Jimmy Butler in the process (Barrett dropped 46 points vs. Miami). “We all know he’s capable of that,” Miami’s Jimmy Butler said. “I don’t think anybody is surprised or should be surprised. He’s definitely going to be … the face of the Knicks.”
Phoenix Suns DFS Notes
Deandre Ayton needed just 26 minutes to accumulate 18 points, eight rebounds, one assist and one steal in a blowout win over the Trail Blazers on Wednesday. He was going up against Drew Eubanks, and he had no issue with him as he shot 9-of-12 from the field and only turned the ball over once. Ayton did snap a five-game streak with at least one swat, which has not been his forte this season, but hopefully he can send some shots packing against the Knicks on Friday to get another streak going. With Chris Paul out for the foreseeable future and Devin Booker entering health and safety protocols earlier today, expect an uptick in offensive production from the Phoenix big man.
