RJ Barrett (non-covid illness) has been listed as questionable for Tuesday’s game against Brooklyn. There seems to be some bug that is running through the NBA right now and Barrett seems to be the latest victim of this illness. We will know more about his ststus after Tuesday’s shootaround, but if he can’t go, all eyes will turn to Immanual Quickley, and Quentin Grimes will also see some some quality minutes off the bench.

James Harden is “trying to figure out when to score, when to be a playmaker” for the Nets this season. Kyrie Irving’s absence was supposed to make Harden’s numbers go up and the Nets’ wins go down. Instead, the Nets sit atop the Eastern Conference standings, and Harden is having one of the worst seasons of his career. He’s scoring 20.3 points per game, which is his worst since leaving Oklahoma City, on 40.6% shooting, which is the worst he’s shot since his rookie season. A lot of people will argue that it’s because of the rule change, but Harden is only shooting 6.8 free throws per game, compared to his 7.3 free throws per game last season. He’s also drawn 5.2 fouls per game this season, which is actually up from 5.1 last season. So really, he might just be trying to figure it out, and when he does, he should get back to being that top fantasy asset that he’s been for the last decade.
