Pacers bouncing back

Indiana has the league’s top defense right now, allowing a league-low 100.6 points per game while opponents shoot just 43.5 percent from the field. He has been averaging 10.2 points per game. Victor Oladipo leads the team with 20.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game while Domantas Sabonis adds 14.2 points and 9.6 rebounds per contest.
Hawks on rare win streak
Don’t look now, but the Atlanta Hawks are on a three-game win streak following a 98-95 victory at Detroit on Sunday. They have also covered in three straight and five of their last seven. The Hawks are now 9-23 on the season, 5-9 at home, 14-18 against the spread and 17-15 with the over.

NBA Betting Trends
Indiana
The Pacers have covered the spread in four straight road games and in seven of their last nine conference games.
Atlanta
The Hawks are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games following a win but just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 home games.
Prediction:
Atlanta has been on a nice little run lately, but the injuries are likely to catch up to them today against this Indiana team. The Pacers have been the hottest team in the league, with just one little slip up against Cleveland in an 11-game stretch of strong showings. The Pacers are going to slow down this Atlanta team and that won’t help the Hawks, who don’t shoot the ball particularly well and don’t defend well. Indiana should be able to beat up on this short-handed team and lock the Hawks down on defense.
NBA Prediction: Indiana Pacers -8
