Hornets vs. Magic Prediction
The total in Sunday night’s game between the Hornets and Magic opened at 216 but has dropped to 215.5. Is the over still a safe bet to cash in Orlando when these two teams tip off at 7:00 p.m. ET?

Charlotte Hornets DFS Spin
P.J. Washington played 33 minutes on Friday, making 7-of-14 field goals and 2-of-2 free throws for 16 points with four rebounds, two assists and one block. Washington tweaked an ankle during Tuesday’s practice but it was never a threat to his status tonight. He benefited from the fact that Charlotte hasn’t played since last Saturday, giving them time to rest and work on their gameplan in practices. “We spent a lot of time on our fourth-quarter package, our execution,” said coach James Borrego. They could have used a defensive tutorial instead, giving up 123 points on 51.6% shooting to the lowly Bulls tonight. PJW is central to what Charlotte hopes to accomplish this season, of course, so win or lose his 28.9 minutes per game should be set in stone.
Orlando Magic DFS Spin
Evan Fournier made 8-of-14 field goals and 6-of-12 free throws on Friday, scoring 26 points with a season-high nine assists, four rebounds and just one turnover in 36 minutes. The result was a tough overtime loss in Indiana, with Fournier missing a potential game-winner at the final buzzer (on the heels of a missed 3-pointer with 20 seconds remaining in OT). Michael Carter-Williams (left foot) was a scratch tonight despite being questionable prior to the game, so he’ll have a chance to return Sunday vs. the Hornets. His return would shift some playmaking duties away from Fournier, but that’s of limited concern since Orlando clearly needs Fournier’s scoring to take pressure off Nikola Vucevic. Fire him up wherever you roster him.

The over is also 7-3 in the Hornets’ last 10 road games and is 4-1 in their last five games when facing an opponent with a losing record, while the over has cashed in four straight Magic games when Orlando plays on Sunday.
