Charlotte Hornets DFS Notes
LaMelo Ball struggled shooting the ball, but still amnaged to score 17 points to go with seven rebounds, seven assists, two blocks, and one steal as the Hornets beat the Pistons 127-126 on Sunday night. Ball struggled shooting the ball on Sunday as he shot 6-of-24 from the floor (3-of-8 3-pointers) and 2-of-2 from the foul line. He also had four turnovers, and he now has 10 in his last two games. This is now two stinkers in a row for Ball from a shooting perspective, after he went 5-of-16 against the Raptors on Friday. He will try to get back on track against the Bucks on Monday in night two of the back-to-back.
Milwaukee Bucks DFS Notes
Jrue Holiday shot 7-of-9 from the field for 19 points in Saturday’s loss to the Nets, additionally tallying five rebounds, seven assists, two steals, one 3-pointer and an unfortunate seven turnovers in 39 minutes. The high turnover count paired with the 4-of-8 shooting from the line definitely put a damper on Holiday’s performance, but otherwise he was solid per usual and hit 78% of his field goals to help make up for those blunders. Holiday seems to always start off each season rather slowly but always picks it up, and he’s now a third-rounder on a per-game basis and has appeared in 15 straight games for Milwaukee. It’s far too late to try and buy low on the point guard, but if he starts off next season slowly yet again, you know what to do.
