Miami Heat DFS Spin
Bam Adebayo hit 7-of-10 shots and 4-of-11 free throws (yikes) for a team-high 18 points, five rebounds, three assists, a steal and four turnovers in 36 minutes of Wednesday’s 113-101 loss to the Timberwolves. Adebayo’s assists have dried up with the arrival of Kyle Lowry (2.8 compared to 5.4 last season) and his turnovers are up. Bam’s still averaging a career-high 19.1 points and 10.5 rebounds, but his blocks have also disappeared, down from 1.0 last season to 0.4 today. He’s got plenty of time to turn it around but the lack of assists is a blow to his fantasy value. Duncan Robinson broke out of a funk for 17 points and five triples, but the Heat couldn’t get by the Wolves tonight.
Chicago Bulls DFS Spin
Zach LaVine scored 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting (3-of-7 3-pointers) and added five assists, and four rebounds as the Bulls beat the Magic on Friday night. LaVine and his buddy DeMar DeRozan have been scoring machines for the Bulls this season, as the duo entered Friday 6th and 7th in the NBA in scoring respectively. DeRozan had one of his better shooting games on Friday night, which included a 3-of-3 mark from beyond the arc. He finished with 23 points on 7-of-16 shooting with five rebounds and four assists in 28 minutes.
