Friday’s NBA Best Bets
The Spurs, Warriors and Magic have the best records against the spread in the NBA this season and all three teams will be in action on Friday night.
Magic at Nets, 7:30PM ET
Orlando is 21-14-1 against the spread this season, covering at a 60% clip and winning games by an average margin of 0.3 points. The Magic is a 5.5-point favorite to beat the Nets tonight and as a favorite, Orlando is 8-5 against the number this season. They’re also a perfect 3-0 against the spread as a road favorite this year, winning by an average margin of 14.0 points in those three games.
Knicks at Spurs, 8:30PM ET
No team has been more profitable at the betting window this year than the Spurs, who are 26-11 against the number (70.3%), covering by an average margin of +5.0 points (best in the league). But here’s the rub for tonight: New York has also been strong against the spread, going 22-15 ATS and 16-11 as an underdog. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the Spurs are 14.5-point favorites for tonight’s game so bet wisely.
Warriors at Blazers, 10:00PM ET
The Warriors have been the second-best play for bettors this NBA season, covering at a 61.8% clip while going 21-13-1 ATS. They’re currently a 9.5-point favorite at Portland tonight and are 11-5-1 at the betting window as a road favorite, winning by an average margin of 8.7 points. The Blazers, meanwhile, are 4-4 against the spread as a home dog this season, but are winning by an average margin of 3.8 points in those four games.
