Clippers vs. Jazz Prediction
The second game of ESPN’s Wednesday night double header in the NBA will pit the Clippers against the Jazz at 10:00 p.m. ET. With the Clippers catching 8.5 points as a road underdog, will they cash for bettors?
Game Snapshot
545 Los Angeles Clippers (+8.5) at 546 Utah Jazz (-8.5); o/u 215.5
10:00 p.m. ET, Wednesday, December 15, 2021
Venue: Vivint Arena, Salt Lake City, UT
TV: ESPN
Los Angeles Clippers DFS Notes
Paul George (right elbow sprain) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets. George is approaching one week on the sideline due to the elbow injury, and his absence has impacted the entire Clippers rotation. While Reggie Jackson and Marcus Morris get even more scoring opportunities, so do Terance Mann and Luke Kennard. Mann and Kennard are solid streaming options if they’re still available to be picked up, should George sit Wednesday night.
Utah Jazz DFS Notes
Rudy Gay finished Saturday’s 123-98 win over the Wizards with three points (1-of-6 FGs), three rebounds, and one 3-pointer in 18 minutes. Gay did not take part in Saturday’s pregame shootaround for personal reasons, but he was available to play. The veteran forward struggled with his shot, and really isn’t a reliable option in most fantasy leagues. Gay’s greatest value will be in affording the Jazz the ability to play small, using him at the center spot in certain situations.
