Cleveland Cavs DFS Notes
Jarrett Allen hit 8-of-14 shots and 2-of-2 free throws for 18 points, 17 rebounds, a steal and two blocks in Monday’s 109-108 win at Sacramento. Allen and Evan Mobley had fun against Alex Len and Marvin Bagley tonight and pulled off a big win in the process. The Cavs’ young big-man duo is going to be a force to be reckoned with for years and were a big problem for the Kings tonight. Allen has now double-doubled in four of his five January games and the 17 rebounds tied his season high.
Utah Jazz DFS Notes
Donovan Mitchell hit 11-of-25 shots and three 3-pointers for 31 points, three boards, four assists and two steals in Monday’s 126-116 loss to the Pistons. The Jazz blew a 22-point lead thanks to the heroics of Cade Cunningham and Saddiq Bey, while the absence of Rudy Gobert is hurting them after three straight losses. The Pistons went on a 16-5 run in the fourth quarter to build and 10-point lead and never looked back. Mitchell is cooking without Gobert, scoring 36 with nine dimes on Saturday against the Pacers.
