Giannis Antetokounmpo went for 31 points on 9-of-17 shooting in a 122-109 loss to the Warriors on Saturday, also chipping in eight rebounds with three assists, one block, one triple and one turnover in 34 minutes. The Greek Freak is so dominant on the stat sheet that his managers (or anyone familiar with his game) don’t even bat an eye at stuff like this anymore. The bad news is that he went just 12-of-18 (66.7%) from the free throw line, but this isn’t new as he’s gone just 46-of-73 (63.0%) from the charity stripe over his last five games, which is likely to single-handedly lose you that category in head-to-head settings given the insane volume. His free throws were looking much better towards the end of February, but he’s still a first-round beast anyway even with the freebies factored in, with an improvement there just being an added bonus to his freakish fantasy game.
Utah Jazz DFS Notes
Rudy Gobert (left foot strain) has been ruled out of Saturday’s game against the Kings. The team called the injury a left foot first Metatarsal Phalangeal joint sprain, which is basically where the toe meets the foot, but “strain” works for us. He wasn’t on any prior injury reports so this is a brand new injury, and now the Jazz will be without two of their starters with Gobert and Mike Conley (rest) on the sidelines. Hassan Whiteside is the obvious candidate to start in Gobert’s absence and is worth streaming tonight for his proven per-minute upside.
Bucks vs. Jazz NBA Betting Prediction
The Bucks are just 4-17 against the spread in their last 21 games in Utah and are 8-30 at the window in their last 38 games versus the Jazz overall. Milwaukee has dropped six of its last eight games when facing a team with a winning record and is 1-5 against the spread in its last six road games versus a team with a home winning percentage above greater than .600. The Jazz, meanwhile, are 6-1-1 against the spread in their last eight home games and have cashed in six of their last eight games as a home dog.
