Giannis Antetokounmpo (back) sat out of Friday’s exhibition game vs. the Pelicans. He looked solid through limited minutes in his first two preseason games, and we’re not worried about him skipping tonight’s preseason finale with a minor back issue. He’ll be fine for opening night, and he could see further statistical improvement in his age-26 season. He’s an easy first-round target.
Boston Celtics DFS Spin
Jayson Tatum went 5-of-17 from the field and 7-of-8 from the line on his way to 19 points in Friday’s preseason loss to the Nets. Tatum added two triples, eight boards, three dimes, one steal, one block and two turnovers in his 26 minutes of floor time, and he looks ready to take another major leap in his age-22 season, making him a safe, first-round target. Jaylen Brown finished with 16 points, one 3-pointer, four rebounds, four assists, one steal and one turnover in 26 minutes, and he looks like a solid top-50 target on draft day.
Bucks vs. Celtics Betting Prediction
The Bucks have failed to cover in seven of their last 10 trips to Boston and are 4-9 against the number in their last 13 road games dating back to last season. Milwaukee is also 1-3-1 against the spread in its last five games as a favorite, is 1-4-1 at the betting window in its last six games overall and is 1-4-1 ATS in its last six games after scoring 100 points or more in its previous game.
On the other side, the Celtics are 16-5 against the spread in their last 21 games as a home underdog, are 22-8 against the number in their last 30 games as an underdog of any kind and are 34-15-4 against the number in their last 53 games played on Wednesday.
