Hawks vs. Thunder Prediction
Are the Thunder a safe bet to cover tonight as a small home favorite against the Hawks at 8:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Thunder are a 3-point home favorite against the Hawks after opening as a 3.5-point fave. The total, meanwhile, is currently sitting at 208 points after the number hit the board at 211.
HAWKS KEY TRENDS: The Hawks have been a horrible road play recently, going 7-16 against the spread in their last 23 games away from Atlanta. They’re also 2-7 against the number in their last nine games overall, are 1-11 against the spread in their last 12 games playing on one day of rest, and are 1-5 at the betting window in their last six games versus Western Conference opponents.
THUNDER KEY TRENDS: The Thunder are 4-1-1 at the betting window in their last six home games, are 6-1 against the spread in their last seven games after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game, and are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games coming off an ATS win. They’ve also covered in five of their last seven games coming off a win.

OUR PREDICTION: The home team has covered in four of the last five meetings between these two teams while the Hawks have really struggled to cover versus the Thunder. Atlanta is just 3-8 against the spread in its last 11 trips to Oklahoma City and has failed to cover in 20 of its last 27 games versus the Hawks overall. Russell Westbrook bounced back nicely on Saturday after going three straight games without a triple-double and shooting 14-of-44 from the floor in back-to-back losses. He found his rhythm in the Thunder’s 114-101 win over the Suns, scoring 26 points on 9-of-17 shooting, with 11 rebounds and a career-high 22 assists. If Westbrook is on tonight, he’ll be too much for the Hawks.
OUR PREDICTION: OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER -3
