Ben Simmons hit 10-of-12 shots and 3-of-3 free throws for 23 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists, a steal and a block in Thursday’s tough loss to the Blazers. Simmons and Joel Embiid look like they have better chemistry this season and Simmons possibly had his best game of the season tonight. He catches a lot of heat for his poor field goal and free throw shooting but he was nearly perfect in this one. But, at least he didn’t attempt a 3-pointer, as usual. The Sixers had won nine of their last 11 games and were on a two-game winning streak coming in, but they’ll have to look to start a new streak against Phoenix on Saturday.
Phoenix Suns DFS Spin
Chris Paul returned after missing Monday’s game due to a hamstring injury and hit 10-of-20 shots and four 3-pointers for 28 points, three rebounds, seven assists, two steals and a block in 32 minutes of Wednesday’s one-point win over Milwaukee. Paul’s minutes have been through the roof this season and the day off probably did him some good. He looked refreshed tonight and played very well as the Suns not only won their fourth straight game, but snapped the Bucks’ five-game winning streak, as well.
