Philadelphia 76ers DFS Notes
Joel Embiid played 34 minutes in Tuesday’s 114-109 win over the Raptors, accounting for 36 points (11-of-16 FGs, 12-of-14 FTs), 11 rebounds, four assists, one block, and two 3-pointers. The shorthanded Raptors had no answer for Embiid, who took full advantage of just about every matchup that Toronto sent his way. He’s now scored 32 points or more in two straight, and four of his last five games. Providing top-10 value in 9-cat formats for the season, Embiid has certainly done his part to lead a 76ers roster that has struggled with inconsistency this season. The unfortunate thing for fantasy managers is that this is a two-game week for the 76ers, who are scheduled to take on the Nets Thursday night.
Brooklyn Nets DFS Notes
Nets coach Steve Nash said that he expects Kevin Durant (conditioning) and LaMarcus Aldridge (conditioning) to play on Thursday vs. Philadelphia. As expected, both of these former Texas Longhorns should be in the lineup on Thursday, so be sure to get them both active. Bruce Brown’s fantasy value should take a hit, as should Patty Mills, who has been going absolutely bonkers of late. He will surely still be a factor, but not in the volume that he has been of late.
