Philadelphia 76ers DFS Notes
Joel Embiid (right knee soreness) is being listed as questionable for Tuesday’s game vs. New York. Embiid has been listed as questionable for every game other than the opener, but he’s yet to actually sit one out, so we’d be surprised to see him sit out a game at The Garden. Check back for another update following Tuesday’s shootaround.
New York Knicks DFS Notes
Kemba Walker hit 4-of-8 shots for 10 points, two triples and three assists over 19 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Magic. Walker hasn’t been very impressive through his first three games in New York, posting averages of 10.3 points, 2.3 assists, 2.7 triples and 1.7 turnovers per game on 45.8% shooting. He’s essentially in a three-way, value-killing timeshare with Derrick Rose and Immanuel Quickley, and if that trend continues, it’s unlikely Walker will be able to emerge with standard league value.
76ers vs. Knicks NBA Betting Prediction
The under has cashed in five of the last six meetings between these two teams and is 4-0 in the last four meetings in New York. The under is also 6-1 in the 76ers’ last seven games overall, is 5-1 in their last six games playing on one day of rest and is 11-2 in their last 13 games when facing an opponent with a winning straight up record. On the other side the under is 7-3 in the Knicks’ last 10 games as a home favorite, is 4-1 in their last five games coming off a loss and is 7-2 in their last nine games when their opponent scores 100 points or more in its previous contest.
