Monday’s NBA Odds
(TheSpread) – The NBA schedule for Monday is pretty light, with just six games taking place and no real competitive matchups. Here is a look at the odds for each contest on the night.
The featured game of the night has the San Antonio Spurs hosting the Portland Trail Blazers at 8:30PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, the Spurs are a 14-point favorite at home against the Blazers. The over/under total for the game has not been set. San Antonio is the top seed in the West right now with a 47-16 record and 27-5 mark at home while the Blazers won’t make the playoffs with a 28-36 overall record and 8-23 road record. The Spurs are 39-20-3 against the spread this season while the Blazers are 31-32-1 ATS. Portland has won four of its last five against the Spurs and covered the spread in two of the last three meetings.
The other featured game of the night has the Indiana Pacers hosting the Detroit Pistons at 7PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, the Pacers are a 9-point favorite at home against Detroit, while the over/under total has not been set. Indiana is currently the third seed in the East at 41-23 overall and 22-9 at home. Detroit is not going to make the playoffs with an overall record of 24-40 and a road record of 7-25. Detroit is 30-32-1 against the spread this season while Indiana is 32-32 ATS. Indiana has won and covered the spread in two of its last three against Detroit.
