NBA Finals Odds To Win
(TheSpread) – The 2011 NBA Playoffs are set to begin this weekend and the oddsmakers still are backing the two-time defending champions.
The Los Angeles Lakers are the favorites according to oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com as they have 2/1 odds to win the NBA Finals. Other short odds to win are Chicago (5/2), Miami (7/2), and San Antonio (9/2).
The Lakers have won the last two NBA titles and they come into this year’s playoffs as the No. 2 seed in the West. Overall, Los Angeles has won 17 NBA titles. Los Angeles went 57-25 during the regular season and the Lakers were 30-11 at home and 27-14 on the road. L.A. won 6 of their last 10 games and was the champion of the Pacific Division.
The Bulls won the Eastern Conference regular season title with a 62-20 record. The Bulls were 36-5 at home and 26-15 on the road. Chicago closed the season by winning 9-straight games. Chicago has won 6 NBA titles in franchise history, the last of which came in 1998.
Miami is the No. 2 seed in the East. The Heat won the Southeast Division and went 58-24 on the year. Miami was 30-11 at home and 28-13 on the road. The Heat won their last four games and they have won NBA title in their franchise history, which came in 2006.
The Spurs are the top seed in the West with a 61-21 record. San Antonio was 36-5 at home this season and 25-16 on the road. San Antonio has won four titles in franchise history, the last of which came in 2007.
