Updated NBA Finals Odds To Win
(TheSpread) – The 2011 NBA Playoffs are down to the conference finals and now that the defending champs are out, a new favorite has emerged.
Miami is now the favorite to win the NBA Championship according to oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com as they have 2/1 odds to win the NBA Finals. Other short odds to win are Oklahoma City (11/5), Chicago (5/2), and Dallas (5/2).
The Miami Heat are the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference and they reached the conference finals by defeated Philadelphia in five games in the first round and Boston in five games in the second round. The Heat are unbeaten at home in the playoffs.
Oklahoma City is the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference. The Thunder disposed of Denver in five games in the first round and then beat Memphis in the second round in seven games. The Thunder are appearing in the conference finals for the first time in franchise history.
Chicago has the top overall seed and is No. 1 in the East. The Bulls beat Indiana in five games in the first round of the playoffs and then followed that up by beating Atlanta in the second round in six games. The Bulls have three road wins in the playoffs.
Dallas is the No. 3 seed in the West. The Mavericks beat Portland in six games to start the playoffs and then swept the two-time defending champions, the L.A. Lakers, in the second round. Dallas has yet to lose at home in the playoffs.
