Atlanta Hawks DFS Spin
Trae Young (right adductor soreness) is questionable to play on Sunday against the Heat. Young's coming off a shaky game on Friday where he only made 7-of-21 shots for 17 points, and him popping up on the injury report 24 hours later might explain why. It'll be interesting to see if Atlanta plays things safe with the All-Star break coming up, but they'll also most likely be without Cam Reddish (Achilles soreness, doubtful), too. If Young sits, Rajon Rondo, Kevin Huerter, and Brandon Goodwin will move up in the rotation.
Miami Heat DFS Spin
Jimmy Butler led the Heat to an impressive 124-116 win over the red-hot Jazz on Friday, scoring 33 points (12-of-22 FGs, 9-of-11 FTs) with 10 rebounds, eight assists, one steal and three turnovers in 34 minutes. That's five straight wins for Miami, and Butler somehow found a way to top his epic performance vs. the Raptors on Wednesday in which he had 14 points alone in the fourth quarter. "That was a quintessential Jimmy game," coach Erik Spoelstra said. "It was an all-around, winning game." Butler came into tonight on a second-round run in 9-cat over his previous seven games, averaging 19.6 points, 9.0 dimes, 8.6 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 0.7 triples. He's been a nightly triple-double threat and his fantasy managers are reaping the rewards while sipping their "Big Face Coffee."
Hawks vs. Heat Betting Prediction
The heat have cashed in five straight games, are 4-0 against the spread in their last four games coming off a win and are 4-1 against the number in their last five games as a betting favorite. They’re also taking on a Hawks team that is just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games playing on one day of rest, are 1-4 against the number in their last five road games and are 3-7 at the betting window in their last 10 road games when facing a team like Miami that has a winning record at home.
