WASHINGTON (AP) -Orioles right-hander Koji Uehara left Saturday night’s game against the Washington Nationals after three innings with left hamstring tightness.
Uehara had thrown 56 pitches, allowing three hits, walking two and striking out three. He was replaced by right-hander Brian Bass with Baltimore ahead 1-0.
It’s the same hamstring that troubled Uehara, the first Japanese-born Orioles player, during spring training.
