Seby Zavala went 2-for-3 with two homers in a 3-2 win over the Yankees on Tuesday. Zavala got the scoring started on Tuesday when he connected with a 320-foot bomb to right field off Clarke Schmidt. Yankees manager Aaron Boone told reporters after Tuesday’s loss to the White Sox that Aaron Judge will be placed on the 10-day injured list on Wednesday. Judge has been diagnosed with a bruise and a sprain of a ligament in his right big toe. There’s no clear timetable yet for how long he’ll be sidelined, but the Yankees will be without their superstar slugger for at least a week — as they can backdate the stint on the injured list to Sunday. It’s obviously a brutal blow to both the Yankees and to fantasy managers.
