MLB Betting Trends
San Diego
The Padres are 12-3 in their last 15 games following a day off and 6-1 in Paddack’s last seven starts.
Los Angeles
The Dodgers are 6-1 in their last seven against a winning team and 36-16 in their last 52 home games.
Prediction:
Paddack has been dynamite this season, giving up just seven earned runs over 40.2 innings. He also has 46 strikeouts with 10 walks. Kershaw has the name power, but has given up seven runs over his last two starts. Still, Los Angeles is 5-0 with him on the mound this year, including a win at San Diego. I think this could be a real pitching battle, but the Dodgers definitely have the much stronger hitters and that will be the difference in this game. Kershaw should ultimately get the run support that Paddack won’t.
MLB Prediction: Los Angeles Dodgers -145
