From Rotoworld: Montgomery yielded four runs over six innings in a loss to the Astros on Friday. Montgomery gave up a three-run homer to Brian McCann in the third inning and an RBI single to Carlos Correa in the fourth. He struck out seven and walked just one in the loss. It was the first time he allowed more than three runs in a start.
Duffy was handed a no-decision Friday after giving up two runs over seven innings against the Orioles. Duffy had the lead before allowing the tying run to score on a wild pitch during his final inning of work. The southpaw fanned six (his highest total since April 14) and walked one in the no-decision. He owns a solid 3.38 ERA through eight starts, though he’s winless over his last five starts.
