Phillies vs. Marlins Prediction
Will the over cash when the Marlins host National League East rivals the Phillies at 7:10PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Marlins are -150 money line favorites versus the Phillies, who are +135 to pull off the upset in Miami. With Jerad Eickhoff set to face Tom Koehler in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9 runs.

From Rotoworld: Eickhoff twirled five shutout frames Sunday in the Phillies’ win over the Padres. Eickhoff looked sharp in his return from the disabled list, holding the Friars to five hits while matching a season-high with eight punch-outs. The right-hander had good command of the strike zone, allowing just one walk while throwing 49 of his 71 pitches for strikes. Somehow this was Eickhoff’s first win of the season. The 27-year-old struggled to a 4.63 ERA over 15 first-half starts.
Koehler struck out seven while being charged with three runs over five innings in Thursday’s loss to the Cardinals. Luke Voit was his nemesis, slugging a solo homer and a two-run double. This was a huge improvement for Koehler over the debacle in Milwaukee over the weekend, certainly. He should be in the rotation indefinitely with the Marlins in flux there.
Bet Today’s Phillies vs. Marlins Game
OUR PREDICTION: The over is 3-1-1 in Eickhoff’s last five starts versus the Marlins, are 4-1-1 in his last six starts overall, and is 4-1 in his last five outings when their opponent scores two runs or less in their previous game. On the other side, the over is 6-1 in Koehler’s last seven starts, is 6-0 in his last six home outings, and is 20-6 in his last 26 starts following a team loss in their previous game.
