OUR PREDICTION
Mikolas will be making his first major league appearance since 2014. After a couple of rough outings to start spring training, Mikolas did find his groove but he pitched the last three seasons in Japan. Thus, we don’t know what to expect from him today at hitter-friendly Miller Park. I’d rather back Davies, who won’t strike many batters out but will limit hard contact. The Brewers have one of the highest implied run totals on Monday’s MLB slate and are playing in their home opener against a pitcher that hasn’t seen Major League hitters in a regular season game in over three years. I’m taking Milwaukee at a small price.
MONDAY MLB PREDICTION: MILWAUKEE BREWERS -115
