From Rotoworld: Sabathia was charged with four runs over six innings in Tuesday’s loss to the Tigers. It was the home run ball that did him in, which, of course, is no surprise at Yankee Stadium, as both John Hicks (three-run shot) and Justin Upton (solo homer) took Sabathia deep. It’s just the second and third longball the big lefty has given up over his last seven starts. Sabathia’s next start will come on Sunday in Cleveland.
Happ struck out 10 batters over seven innings of one-run ball Wednesday in the Blue Jays’ 5-1 defeat of the White Sox. Happ cruised through Chicago’s patchwork lineup, scattering six hits and a walk while racking up double-digit punchouts for the first time in 2017. The one run against him came on an RBI single by Leury Garcia in the bottom of the sixth. Happ is now 4-8 on the year with a 3.92 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and 80/24 K/BB ratio in 85 innings. Up next is a start at home against the Yankees.
