From Rotoworld: Fiers walked four without allowing a run over four innings in Sunday’s win over the Yankees. While Fiers had issues with his control in this one, he allowed just two hits and struck out seven while going in and out of trouble. The veteran hurler will carry a 3.80 ERA and 1.31 WHIP into a road start against the Blue Jays next time he takes to the mound.

Stroman (blister) threw on Thursday. He had his last start cut short because of a blister but threw as usual on Thursday and is on track to start Saturday against Houston. Stroman leads the Blue Jays with eight wins and a 3.42 ERA this season.

Bet Today’s Astros vs. Blue Jays Game

OUR PREDICTION: The under is 4-1-1 in Fiers’ last six starts coming off five days of rest and has been an excellent play when Stroman toes the rubber. The under is 4-1-1 in Stroman’s last six starts, is 10-4 in his last 14 home outings, and is 12-4-1 in his last 17 starts versus a team with a winning record. The under is 11-1 in Stroman’s last 12 starts when the Blue Jays’ opponent allows two runs or less in its previous game as well.

SATURDAY MLB PREDICTION: ASTROS/BLUE JAYS UNDER 9.5
