Bundy allowed only one run on four hits while striking out eight over seven innings of work in last Wednesday’s 3-1 win over the Blue Jays. The 24-year-old was outstanding, throwing 69 of 99 pitches for strikes and holding a Toronto offense that has been dominant in recent years.
Pomeranz will be making his 2017 season debut after a forearm injury landed him on the 10-day disabled list to start the season. In 31 games last season, he posted a 3.32 ERA over 170 2/3 innings pitched, walking 65 and striking out 186.
