Red Sox vs. Yankees Prediction
Is the betting total set too high in tonight’s American League East matchup between the Red Sox and Yankees at 7:05PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Yankees are -127 money line favorites versus the Red Sox, who have odds of +117 to pull off the upset in the Bronx. With Eduardo Rodriguez set to face Jaime Garcia in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9.5 runs.

From Rotoworld: Rodriguez gave up two runs over six innings Friday in a no-decision against the White Sox. The only damage was a two-run double from Nicky Delmonico in the fourth inning. Rodriguez gave up four hits in all while walking two and striking out five. He threw a season-high 117 pitches. The southpaw has been shaky since coming off the disabled list, but this outing was a step in the right direction. He’ll try to keep it going against the Yankees next week.
Garcia struggled in his Yankees debut on Friday against the Indians, allowing six runs (five earned) over 4 2/3 innings. Not the best first impression. Recently acquired from the Twins, Garcia gave up five hits and walked four batters. He was pulled at 87 pitches in the fifth inning. While it was a disappointing performance, Garcia became the first pitcher to make three straight appearances as a starter for three different teams since Gus Weyhing did it in 1895.
