Brewers vs. Cubs Prediction
Can the Brewers upset the Cubs this afternoon at 2:20PM ET and win their fifth straight game?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Cubs are -200 money line favorites versus the Brewers, who have odds of +160 to pull off the upset. With Chase Anderson set to face Jake Arrieta in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9.5 runs.

From Rotoworld: Anderson was lifted after allowing two runs in 4 2/3 innings Wednesday against the Red Sox. If Anderson had gotten one more out, it would have resulted in a win; he left a 2-2 game in the fifth and then watched the Brewers score four times in the bottom of the inning. It’s the second straight start in which Anderson has just missed completing five innings.
Arrieta surrendered four earned runs over six innings Sunday in a loss to the Cardinals. Arrieta gave up a two-run homer to Yadier Molina in the bottom of the second and another two-run shot to Matt Carpenter in the bottom of the third. He again struggled with his fastball velocity, sitting 90-91 mph for much of the afternoon. Arrieta has an unsightly 5.44 ERA on the season.
Bet Today’s Brewers vs. Cubs Game
OUR PREDICTION: The Brewers are 4-0 in their last four games overall, all of which came on the road. They’ve also won seven of their last 10 games against National League Central opponents and are 8-1 in their last nine games versus a right-handed starter. With Arrieta struggling this is a good opportunity to take a hot Milwaukee team catching plus odds.
SUNDAY MLB PREDICTION: MILWAUKEE BREWERS +160
