Oddsmakers have made the BoSox –135 money line favorites against the M’s, who are +125 on the ML. The Red Sox are 4-0 in their last four games against the Mariners and 7-0 in Beckett’s last seven starts versus Seattle.
Staying in the American League East, the Yankees are –150 money line favorites against the Rays, who are +140 on the ML. According to latest MLB trends, the under is 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams and 4-1 in Phil Hughes’ last five starts versus the Rays.
In the National League, Roy Oswalt and the Phillies are –199 money line favorites against the visiting Nationals (+186). Washington is 16-44 in its last 60 meetings and 15-37 in the last 52 meetings versus Philadelphia.
The Diamondbacks are –164 money line favorites against the Mets, who are +154 on the ML for tonight’s 8:10PM ET. The over is 5-1 in the last six meetings between these two teams while the Mets are 0-4 in Mike Pelfrey’s last four road starts versus Diamondbacks.
