MLB Baseball Opening Odds, Lines & Totals for Wednesday, September 28

Wednesday MLB Opening Odds

(The Spread) – It doesn’t get any better than this in baseball: Four teams, two spots, one day remaining.

In the American League Wild Card race, the Red Sox and Rays remain tied after both teams won on Tuesday night. With only one game remaining in the regular season, either somebody emerges tonight or Boston and Tampa Bay go to a one-game playoff.

The Red Sox will once again be in Baltimore tonight at 7:05PM ET and will throw Jon Lester. Oddsmakers have made the Red Sox –210 money line favorites over the Orioles, who are +190 on the ML. The Rays will throw ace David Price but as of this writing the Yankees have not chosen a starter so there is no odds yet for this 7:00PM ET start.
