Tuesday MLB Opening Odds
(The Spread) – The MLB odds have been released for Tuesday’s baseball action, including the lines for Game 2 between the Braves and Phillies.
Oddsmakers have made the Phillies –125 money line favorites versus the Braves, who are +115 for tonight’s 7:05PM ET matchup. The Braves are 4-0 in Tim Hudson’s last four starts versus the Phillies but 3-7 in their last 10 road games versus Philadelphia.
Staying in the NL, the Cardinals (+103) will host the Brewers (-109) at 8:15PM ET. The under is 3-0-2 in Kyle Lohse’s last five starts versus Milwaukee and 12-2-2 in the last 16 meetings between these two teams in St. Louis. The Brewers are also 1-6 in Yovani Gallardo’s last seven starts against the Cardinals.
In the American League, the Rays are +104 home underdogs versus the Rangers, who are –110 on the moneyline. According to latest MLB trends, the under is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these two teams and 5-2 in the last seven meetings between these two teams in Tampa Bay. The Rangers are also 5-2 in their last seven road games versus the Rays.
American League Central rivals will square off in Cleveland when the Indians host the Tigers at 7:05PM ET. The Tribe are –113 money line favorites versus the Tigers, who are +105 on the ML. Detroit is 5-0 in its last five games against Cleveland, which is 11-5 in Fausto Carmona’s last 16 starts versus the Tigers.
