Royals’ Junis allows two runs in victory over Yankees
Jake Junis was charged with two runs over 5 1/3 innings in a 5-2 win over the Yankees on Friday. Junis delivered zeros until the Yankees finally got to him in the sixth. He was pulled with two on and one out before Tim Hill let both inherited runners score. Still, it was a solid performance against one of the league’s best lineups. Junis now sits at 5-3 with a 3.51 ERA and 48/12 K/BB ratio in 56 1/3 innings through nine starts.
Cardinals Wacha pitches well in last outing
Michael Wacha held the Phillies to two runs over six innings and struck out eight on Friday. It’s the sixth straight start in which Wacha has allowed two runs or fewer. He looked very shaky at the beginning of the year with his velocity down, but he’s bounced back awfully nicely.

I see more value in the under with both teams taking turns doing nothing offensively in the first two games of this series. Junis is arguably the Royals’ best pitcher and Wacha has pitched well for over a month now.
