Chicago Cubs DFS SPIN

Rafael Ortega clubbed a game-tying two-run homer off of Giovanny Gallegos in the eighth inning on Saturday, but it still wasn’t enough to lead the Cubs past the Cardinals. The Cubs weren’t able to get much going against Miles Mikolas through the first six innings, but finally broke through against the bullpen in the eighth as Ortega swatted his 371-foot game-tying blast. Unfortunately, that would be the extent of their offense. He finished the day 1-for-4 and is now slashing .269/.361/.395 with four homers and 13 RBI on the season.

St. Louis Cardinals DFS SPIN

Nolan Arenado went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored on Saturday as the Cardinals rallied to beat the Cubs. Arenado doubled off of Adrian Sampson in the first inning and came around to score on Brendan Donovan’s two-run single. He then led off the sixth inning with a single and scored on Dylan Carlson’s run-scoring double. The hard-hitting third baseman is now hitting .284/.350/.515 with 14 homers and 48 RBI on the season.
