The homer represented the only run of the game; a solo shot off of Kyle Gibson that gives the slugger 13 on the season. The double is the 14th of the year, and he’s now hitting .267 with a .850 OPS and 42 runs driven in. He certainly has fantasy value now, but if/when he’s moved near the deadline to a contender, that value should increase significantly.

Ehire Adrianza went 3-for-4 with a homer and four RBI on Saturday in the Twins’ victory over the White Sox. Adrianza hit a three-run shot off of Kelvin Herrera in the eighth inning, and he also drove in a run with a single in the fourth. The homer is the fourth on the season for Adrianza, and he’s driven in 12 runs in 32 games on 78 at-bats. There are lots of Twins hitters who offer fantasy value. Adrianza — despite the line today — is not one of them.
