Houston Astros DFS Spin
Jose Altuve blasted a solo homer on Sunday in a loss to the Rays in Game 1 of the ALCS. Altuve also singled, and he drew a walk. The homer was a first-inning shot off of Blake Snell that gave the Astros a 1-0 lead. It would also be the last run that Houston would score, as Snell settled down and the Rays’ bullpen — as usual — was great. Still, Altuve appears to be swinging a hot stick, and Altuve and the Astros will have a chance to even the series on Monday in Game 2.
Tampa Bay Rays DFS Spin
Randy Arozarena launched a solo homer to help the Rays to a 2-1 win on Sunday over the Astros in Game 1 of the ALCS. Of course he did. With the Astros leading 1-0, Arozarena clobbered a solo shot off Framber Valdez to tie the game at 1-1 in the fourth inning. The Rays would take the lead an inning later on a Mike Zunino single. Arozarena has been fantastic this postseason, and he is one of the main reasons Tampa Bay is just three wins away from a trip to the Fall Classic.
