According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Mets are favored on the road tonight, as they are getting odds of -125 to win, while the Cubs have odds of +115 to prevail. The Mets took a 2-0 lead in this series with a 4-1 win in Game 2 on Sunday. It was a big win for New York, as they put up 3 runs in the first inning on Cubs’ ace Jake Arrieta. Daniel Murphy continued his amazing playoffs as he had a two-run home run in the opening inning and finished with two hits. While Arrieta lasted just five innings and gave up four runs on four hits, Noah Syndergaard pitched 5.2 innings and allowed three hits and one run with nine strikeouts. The Cubs are now just 4-12 in their last 16 playoff games while the Mets come into today 21-6 in their last 27 road games.
