The featured game of the day has the Oakland Athletics hosting the Cleveland Indians at 3:35PM ET. Cleveland is sending Corey Kluber to the mound to face Scott Kazmir of the Athletics. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Oakland is favored at home, as the Athletics have odds of -115 to win, while the Indians have a money line of +105 to prevail. The over/under for runs has been set at 8 runs. Cleveland won the series opener, 2-0, on Monday. The Indians have now won six of their last eight against Oakland and the two have went 4-2-1 with the under in their last seven meetings.
Another featured game today has the Milwaukee Brewers hosting the Atlanta Braves closing out their series at 1:10PM ET. The Braves have Aaron Harang on the mound to face Matt Garza of the Brewers. According to oddsmakers, Milwaukee is favored at home, as the Brewers have odds of -135 to win, while the Braves have a money line of +125. The over/under for runs has been set at 8.5. These two have split the first two meetings, but the Brewers have won eight of the last 11 meetings. The two have hit the under in five straight meetings.
The third game of note today has the Cincinnati Reds hosting the St. Louis Cardinals at 7:10PM ET. The Reds have Tony Cingrani taking the mound to face Michael Wachs of the Cardinals. Oddsmakers have the Cardinals as the slight favorite on the road, as they have odds of -110 to win, while the Reds have a money line of +100. The over/under for runs has been set at 7.5. St. Louis won the first meeting, 1-0, but the Reds have won four of their last six against the Cardinals. The two have gone 2-1-1 with the under in their last four meetings.
