Updated AL Central Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – The AL Central looks to be a one-horse race. Here is an updated look at the odds to win the division.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Detroit Tigers are the clear favorite to win, as they have odds of -700 to win the division. The Kansas City Royals have odds of +500 while the Cleveland Indians have a money line of +1000 to win.
The Tigers are currently 53-38 overall and they have a 6.5-game lead in the division, which is the largest of any division. Detroit is 25-22 at home and 28-16 on the road. Detroit is the three-time defending AL Central champion.
Kansas City is 48-46 overall and second in the division race, 6.5 games behind Detroit. The Royals are 22-25 at home and 26-21 on the road. Kansas City has never won the AL Central title.
Cleveland is 47-47 overall and 7.5 games out of first place. The Indians are 29-19 at home and 18-28 on the road. Cleveland is a seven-time AL Central champ, last winning the title in 2007.
