The Cardinals absolutely crushed the Brewers 12-3 on Monday night to even up the NLCS at one game apiece. With the series shifting to St. Louis tonight at 8:05PM ET, the Cardinals (-148) look to go up 2-1 with ace Chris Carpenter on the mound against Milwaukee’s (+139) Yovani Gallardo.
According to latest MLB trends, the under is 15-5-3 in the last 22 meetings between these two teams in St. Louis, while the Brewers are 2-7 in their last nine games against the Cardinals. Milwaukee is also 1-4 in Gallardo’s last five road starts in St. Louis and 1-7 in his last eight starts versus the Cardinals overall.
The ALCS stays in Detroit for Game 4 this afternoon at 4:19PM ET. The Tigers got back into the series with a 5-2 win on Tuesday night and now they’ll look to even things up with the Rangers as Rick Porcello takes the hill against Mark Harrison.
The odds have yet to be released for Game 4, but Detroit may once again be favored. The Rangers are 0-5 in Harrison’s last five starts against the Tigers and are now 5-18 in their last 23 road games against Detroit. The Tigers are 4-1 in Porcello’s last five home starts and 5-1 and 7-2 in his last nine starts overall.
